Good riddance...HAHA

I never caught an entire single episode of Singapore Idol 2, only bits. I thought taufik and sylvester were bad, but this season it is just horrible. I am so glad its going to be over soon. What exactly is Singapore Idol? A 7 -eleven representative? Someone that goes dancing and say "Have a BIG GULP!" in a commercial? Hmm, taufik had one album, won a really dubious 'favorite male artiste' award at the Asia MTV awards and scored countless 7 eleven ads. Sylvester flopped in taiwan, and disappeared. Olinda is still busy slimming down. Makes me wonder can we really find a kelly clarkson or clay aiken in Singapore....Even if we did manage to find one, maybe at Singapore Idol 128, is he able to break into the international market? I mean, come on, the biggest international star we have is Fann wong...haha, and that itself is laughable. Well back to Singapore Idol 2. Last week, the controversial Joakim gomez went out. Poor guy, he really cant sing, but at least he has looks. But whose fault is it that he made it to the top 12? The judges who condemned him every single week should look back at the recordings and see that they were the ones who put him through in the first place! What were they thinking then? Why the sudden change in opinion? The remaining ones are not great singers either, and they dont have the looks too.

Just a look at Paul Twohill send a chill down my spine. Am I watching a re-run of Sadako on ch 5? or is it the Ju-on? Can david gan please save this guy? His hair is so oily he looks like he didnt shampoo for years! Wonder if he will die of his own stinky hair when they cover his whole face. Maybe he has a good reason for covering his face, cos that is one scary face. And damn ch 5 have to make me see him every wed, thurs, and every 15 mins when the trailers are showing. Thank god! Today he is gone....finally! Out of Singapore Idol. Finally I need not have nightmares anymore. Now that Singapore idol is ending, I just wonder how many more singing competitions can go on before the limited pool of talent in singapore runs out. I mean, some day maybe even Steven Lim will be the next Singapore Idol...if he keep trying! But for now, I am glad that at least we still have Stefanie Sun.
