逆光 , Stefanie latest album. Waited a year plus for her album and it seems everyone in the industry is judging her popularity based on this album...Her last album 完美的一天 , I thought was one of her better albums but it was her worse in sales. Other than 2 fast tracks, most of the other songs are slow, which seems to be the theme of this album...slow, soothing and touching. My favorite track is track number 5 我懷念的. The lyrics is so beautifully written and she sang it with such emotions it just makes you extremely sad. Definitely an album worth waiting a year for and still the best singer to come out from Singapore.
However, I was shocked to see her second and third week album sales in taiwan actually lost to our very own Ms Sun Ho who is into her 4th and 5th week! Unbelieveable!! Never underestimate the power of City Harvest people. Their strength stretches all the way to Taiwan...unimaginable. Cant believe she actually told the media she was sexually abused when she was young in order to get onto the headlines and boost her album sales. What cheap and shameless tactics and I guess its paying off for her.

i like this album too. actually, i didn't like the previous album as much. But this album, has some nice song. Wo Huan Nian De, the lyrics are indeed so beautifully written. Another song that i like is An Ning. Simple and Beautiful. But there are some songs that i dont like tho. like Gugi Gugi..
The record sales, aiya, it's so corrupted. Someone powerful in the music industry (Yao Chien) got say before, some artiste, they've got their own music company ppl buying in their albums to boost the sales figures one.
Don't care about the sales figures. U like can liao. Pity those who don't know and don't listen.
