Day 4 in Tokyo...Relaxed and Happy

After walking like crazy the day before, my 4th day in Tokyo was on a relax mode. I took a day tour to Mount Fuji and Hakone. I think its not bad ....highly recommended. The guide is very nice and frenly. The tour pick u up at a designated hotel and then drive you to Mount Fuji. The trip takes about 2 hours so by 11 am we are at the 1st Station of Mount Fuji.
The view from 1st station. It was a little disappointing that Mount Fuji was covered by that huge cloud when we reached there. And we were unable to move further up to 5th Station due to melting snow. At that time I was thinking..great...thats all I am going to see.

So I amused myself by thinking...hey its not that bad ...at least I get to see snow! I nvr see snow before...lol.
Luckily while we were having lunch, the cloud cleared and we got a full view of Mount Fuji and it was breathtaking...yeah!

After lunch, we went on our way to Hakone...where we are supposed to take a 15mins cruise on Lake Ashi.

The red thing is the torii of Hakone Shrine

Lake Ashi

Upon reaching shore again...we took the 7mins cable car ride up the Komagatake ropeway.

There is a little shrine at the top of the mountain. And thats all there is..makes me wonder...did they build the ropeway so that people can reach the shrine or did the build the shrine after building the ropeway...hmm
I made two frens during the trip...
Our trip ended with a ride on the shinkasen train back to tokyo.
Trip cost 15000 yen but it was quite worth it. Enjoyed every moment of it.
Upon reaching my hotel earlier than expected. I went to a ramen place where there is a queue outside ...got queue must be good. Indeed its really good. Cheap, big portion and really nice ramen. The soup is sooo good.
After dinner, I found this Tako place where there is a queue too... The Taco is huge...got different flavors...regular, korean, chinese, italian...

Guess what is this? Its KFC. I saw a nice poster and I thought it looks really yummy...but ...it sucks. lol. Tasteless. No more KFC in japan.
